deseneheraldice: The online gallery of the Romanian heraldic artist Tudor-Radu TIRON. The author obtained a Ph.D. title, after defending his thesis "Drept şi uzanţă în heraldica românească extracarpatică" (Law and Practise in the Romanian Extra-Carpathian Heraldry) - the Romanian Academy, “N. Iorga” Institute of History of Bucharest. Tudor-Radu TIRON is member of the National Committee of Heraldry, Genealogy and Sigillography of the Romanian Academy (since 1997), member of “Sever Zotta” Institute of Genealogy and Heraldry of Iaşi (since 1999). He is also a honorary, full or corresponding member of several societies of heraldry, genealogy and vexillology of the Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Bulgaria. Tudor-Radu TIRON is a heraldic artist, appointed by the CNHGS according to the Decision of the Romanian Government nr. 25/2003. He has been involved with the UEFISCDI research Project "To the Glory of God and Personal Pride. Monuments with Heraldic Programme as Expression of Art Patronage in Late Medieval Transylvania" (http://heraldica.sapientia.ro/index.php)
